I've spent twenty years on call. I'd like to save you some of that.
Hi, I'm Luke Campbell. Since the early 2000s, I've helped organizations stabilize and optimize their Windows and SQL Server platforms. I've seen firsthand the demands placed on DBAs — long hours, tight deadlines, and high expectations for uptime and performance.
Somewhere along the way I noticed the DBAs who thrived weren't the ones working the hardest. They were the ones who became scalable — making the repeatable parts of the job run themselves and creating error-resistant processes that are easy to maintain and share with others.
I created AutomateSQL to help fellow DBAs and engineers evolve their current PowerShell and T-SQL expertise into structured Ansible frameworks and automated workflows.
